HP has patched up one of the first 7.5 bugs

The earliest adopters of MPE/iX 7.5 can proceed with installing the software even if they’re using Mirrored Disk/iX.. HP began shipping its last version of MPE/iX in September, but soon after it shipped the vendors learned that the software mirroring solution for the 3000 wasn’t working properly in the newest release. HP identified a bug in Mirrored Disk/iX specific to the 7.5 release, and HP engineer Bill Cadier reports that patch MPEMXC6B for MPE/iX 7.5 is now in general release and available for download from the IT Response Center at itrc.hp.com.
