Amisys rolled out a new client-server module for healthcare

Even while it’s preparing to port its HP 3000 software to HP-UX, Amisys LLC announced its got a 7.0 release of Amisys C/S ready for shipment. New capabilities offered in Release 7.0 include an enrollment module that “increases HIPAA readiness, streamlines main member enrollment; supports different plan coverage for each family member; and restructures the functionality of batch enrollment imports.”

AMISYS C/S offers a new customer service module that supports call logging, workflow routing and call history. It provides integrated access to other system modules, including enrollment, claims, utilization management, premium billing, provider contracts, benefits plans and provider modules. The premium billing module has been redesigned to include individual billing, partial month billing, long and short-term disability billing, COBRA and enhanced payment posting. Amisys COO Kathy McCarthy added that “this product is compatible with the new AMISYS HIPAA Web Manager, which enables our customers to meet federal regulations and internal goals.”
