Amisys users to meet at Maryland conference

Customers of the Amisys healthcare application on HP 3000s will hear a report at a September user group meeting about the software’s directions now that the Platinum Equity group has purchased the product. The next Amisys User Group meeting is Sept. 20-21 in Rockville, Md., one of three locations for operations in Platinum’s new Amisys LLC entity. Cost for the conference is $150 if registration is sent by August 24, and $250 after that.

The meeting will be held at the Marriott Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center (800.228.9290). Attendees should mention they are attending the McKessonHBOC Fall User Meeting to get a reduced rate.

User group secretary Kathy Childers reports that Steve Rock of AMISYS LLC will speak for two hours “about the intent and future plans of Amisys, LLC.
