WRQ posts top revenues,
trains on Web-to-host

As it posted record revenues and profitability for fiscal 1997, WRQ launched a series of seminars in the US to educate IT managers on Web-to-host connectivity. The connectivity supplier reported revenues of $138.5 million for its fiscal year ending December 31, up from $130.2 million the previous year. CFO Ron Tilden said the firm also posted “continued profitability” during the year.

This year will mark WRQ’s entry into the Web-to-host market segment, an area where education is a key part of customer acceptance. WRQ updated its schedule for delivery of EnterView, its Web-to-host product, for the second half of 1998. “Understanding Web-to-Host Technologies” is being offered this spring in Minneapolis, San Francisco, Dallas, New York, Chicago, Wilmington, Philadelphia, Toronto, Newport Beach and St. Louis. There are also plans to offer the seminars again in the fall, adding Portland, Boston, Fort Lauderdale and Cincinnati to the list. To register for the free seminars call 800.264.9419 or browse to WRQ’s seminar Web site.
