LeeTech slashes staff at 3000 utility supplier

LeeTech Software, Inc. has eliminated the sales and marketing positions at its company, according to a report from LeeTech’s National Sales Director Craig Solomon. The majority shareholder on the board of parent corporation Abovehealth Corp. announced layoffs on March 22; products affected include on DOOR, AIM, DBA/Quest and DB/Advisor.

“We laid off a couple of people on the LeeTech side,” said Abovehealth’s Business Development VP Cliff Tabor. “We are restructuring the company, and absolutely supporting our middleware tools going forward. We’ve had some funding changes here — we’ve been refunded by investors — and we’re making some structural changes based on their input.” Company founder Lee Tsai remains with the firm, and didn’t comment on the restructuring as of press time. LeeTech was launched in 1987 by Tsai, who is chairman of the board of directors of AboveHealth.
