April and May conferences welcome early birds, even late

User shows for ERP sites and HP 3000 customers were rolling out their welcome mats longer at press time. Interex had its early bird registration open until April 16 for the April 26-27 East Coast Solutions Symposium at the Westin Hotel in Morristown, N.J. And early bird rates are available until April 23 for the combined show of independent user groups including CAMUS — which tracks the fate of MPE ERP solution MANMAN — as well as ERP groups ANAUG, EAM, IDIG, Infinium UserNet and Masterpiece, representing the product lines of BPCS, Enterprise Asset Management, Infinium, KBM, Masterpiece, Financial Management Solution, MAXCIM, MK, PRMS, and Warehouse BOSS. The Combined User Group Conference is May 23-26 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago.

At the Combined User Group show, SSA Global Technologies president Mike Greenough will keynote, after an early skirmish where SSA didn’t want to support the show if SSA competitors were allowed on the show floor. The Interex show features a keynote from Donald Jenkins, HP’s VP of Operating Environment Product Marketing, as well as OpenMPE board director Paul Edwards’ advice on homesteading on the HP 3000. Register for the Interex show ($450) at interex.org/symposium. Sign up for the Combined User Groups show ($600) at globalusergroup.org.
