The 1.1.7 version of
Java/iX went out for beta testing from the CSY Jazz Web site in late
February, the first look at a faster release HP expects to ship with its
late spring MPE/iX 6.0 PowerPatch 1. HP has also ported the 1.2 release of
Java to the 3000, and it’s expected to go into beta sometime in April.
