A new 1.3.9 version of the Apache/iX Web server is available as a free download from HP’s IT Resource Center for the e3000, and this software is supported. The version’s patch ID is APCFDX6B. The new version supports Dynamic Shared Objects (DSOs). With this functionality, it’s possible to add new features to Apache without recompiling the Apache program.
