Although HP has made the latest version of the Apache Web server available on its Jazz Web server for downloading, the software will be waiting for its bundling with the 6.5 release of MPE/iX before it gets official support. Apache 1.3.4 runs with MPE/iX 6.0 and can be downloaded at no charge from the HP 3000 external Web site at jazz.external.hp.com. HP had planned to bundle Apache 1.3.4 in the MPE/iX 6.0 Express 2 release, but didn’t want to wait that long.
