SIG3000 connects HP engineers with customers on Feb. 15-17

The next generation of summit meetings between HP’s 3000 developers and its sharpest customers takes place next month, when SIG3000 opens its doors for three days of meetings. Special Interest Groups representing the MPE operating system, connectivity tools, IMAGE, Java, system management and languages for the 3000 meet to talk about the future of HP’s software. These are technical discussions where customers can lobby for improvements directly with the engineers writing the code, as well as HP lab managers. The sessions run from 8 AM to 10 PM for each of the first two days, reflecting the SIGs’ effort to get all meetings on a single track and keep the meeting to three days total. Cost is $100 to attend, including three lunches. Register at www.intere x.org/advocacy/sig3000/regform.html for meeting at the Sunnyvale, Calif. Hilton.
