Minisoft is taking its Web Dimension development suite into beta

Minisoft began to look for companies and organizations to beta test its new Web Dimension technology in trials scheduled to start March 27. Web Dimension can be used to create new graphical and Web-based user interfaces for existing e3000 applications. Minisoft says the application does not need to be modified, and source code is not required. Applications revamped with Web Dimension can benefit from Java development environments such as Jbuilder or Visual Cafe.Output can go to a MiniSoft-provided Java GUI Viewer or to an HTML page within a browser. Minisoft said Web Dimension “is Java based and allows you to communicate with an IMAGE database, KSAM, or MPE flat files using Minisoft's JDBC driver, or any other databases on other platforms via any other JDBC driver.” Testers can steer to www.web -dimension.com/beta/beta_registration.htm
