Interex showed off a first look at MPE content for HP World

The breakout session catalog for this summer’s HP World conference went online at the start of this month, and the listing shows 18 sessions at the conference in Chicago. Among the more intriguing sessions was one titled “What Do We Replace Our Legacy System With? Not.” Also new to the lineup was “An Introduction to .NET for MPE People.” Of the 18 sessions, five were SIG meetings, ranging from an OpenMPE Birds of a Feather meeting (the group doesn’t have SIG status with Interex) to a SIG meeting for Omnidex users. HP will host an e3000 Business Update and Feedback Session, where attendees will hear the vendor’s responses to the strategic requests from this year’s Systems Improvement Ballot. HP executive vice president Ann Livermore will deliver the “big tent” keynote to start the conference. CEO Carly Fiorina is not listed among the keynote speakers. For more information see the Interex Web site page, www.hpworld.com/conference/cfp/sessions/publicCatalog.jsp.
