User groups joined together with HP to survey your satisfaction

From a Web site without an Interex address inside it, users were invited to tell HP how they feel about the vendor’s efforts over the past year. The information being gathered in the Web survey at www.hpcustomersurvey.com will be used in Interex’s customer advocacy efforts. Questions were developed among the many user groups that include Compaq user organizations for the first time. That might be the most tangible interplay between groups like Encompass on the Compaq side and Interex on the HP side. Interex advocacy chief Debbie Lawson said that there are no plans to create technical user conferences between the two organizations. Encompass runs its conference jointly with Compaq, Lawson said, adding that specialized training in Alpha servers and the VMS operating system “is really their niche. We are trying to let [Compaq’s user groups] do that.”
