Lund names LeBlanc as national sales chief, allies with Neartek, Denkart

Lund Performance Solutions (541.812.7600) has appointed Paul LeBlanc as its national accounts manager for East Coast sales, as well as announcing a pair of alliances with providers of migration tools for HP 3000 sites.

Lund officials said LeBlanc has been instrumental in developing several HP 3000 support companies, and for the past three years has served as Strategic Memory Solutions’ director of sales for the southeast region and Canada. He also has served as the President of the Florida HP Users Group (FLORUG). He is located in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The company also announced that it has inked alliances with Ordina-Denkart and Neartek, providers of migration tools and services. “Companies in Europe like Pitney Bowes and Dunlop have used Neartek’s migration software for more than 10 years,” said Lund president Scott Pierson. “We’re making Neartek’s software a significant part of our five-step, end-to-end migration process.”

Lund’s five-step migration plan includes initial analysis, evaluation of migration alternatives, scheduling and testing, data conversion and capacity planning.

The company also announced an agreement to use Ordina Denkart’s ViaNova 3000 software and services as part of its migration services. ViaNova 3000 includes translation services for all major HP 3000 programming languages (COBOL, FORTRAN, Pascal and SPL), screen migration solutions (edWin and Wingspan), MPE emulation products (MPUX) and database conversions.
