MPE Forum chair
joins MBS’ homestead
support consultants

Managed Business Solutions (MBS, www.thinkmbs.com) has announced that it will work with MPE Forum chairman and HP 3000 training class author Paul Edwards as a Strategic Consultant to provide solutions to the homesteading market. Edwards is an industry-leading consultant with 26 years of HP 3000 experience, including the creation of some of HP’s training classes for MPE/iX.

“MBS is thrilled to work with Paul Edwards,” said Anne Foster, senior VP of marketing at MBS. “His wealth of expertise and in-depth knowledge of the HP 3000 community, combined with MBS’ breadth of services, will enable homesteaders to receive continued support for this critical business asset, the HP 3000.”

MBS said that recent HP surveys show approximately 35 percent of HP3000 customers are intending to remain on the platform beyond the end of HP’s support for the system. end-of-life support. Edwards said he wants to revive a more personal approach to 3000 support.

“Early in my HP 3000 experience as a Systems Engineer and District Manager for Hewlett-Packard, we delivered personal customer care support for our customers,” he said. The HP 3000 customer base has not had this level of service since the early ‘90s. I intend to provide this level of support service to the homesteading customers with the assistance of MBS.”
