Bradmark, Robelle link MPE Command Center, Qedit for Windows

Two longtime HP 3000 software suppliers showed off the new connections between their newest products at HP World, when Robelle Consulting Ltd. integrated its Qedit for Windows client-server editor with Bradmark Technologies’ MPE Command Center. The companies, demo-ing the linkage in each other’s booths at the show, said the products give MPE users “a complete Windows-based solution to handle everything from system administration and file management to text and data file editing and source code development.” Bradmark CEO Brad Tashenberg said, “The ability to move yet one more character-based task into the Windows environment moves user productivity even further ahead.” Robelle President David Greer said “Both products will appeal to HP 3000 users who prefer a Windows environment, particularly junior IT staff or anyone who is new to the HP 3000 platform.” Robelle and Bradmark have agreed to a joint distribution program where both companies will provide Qedit for Windows and MPE Command Center on all demos shipped. In MPE Command Center Version 2.0, to be released in early fall, Qedit for Windows will be the default editor.
