Minisoft database drivers add Eloquence support

Minisoft (800.682.0200) has announced that its database drivers and tools — ODBC, its 3.0-compliant JDBC, and the company’s Middleman development tool designed for building client-server applications for the HP 3000 — now support the HP Eloquence database. HP is positioning Eloquence as a suitable replacement for TurboIMAGE for customers migrating applications away from the HP 3000.

“We have close to 2,800 HP 3000s using our ODBC driver everyday,” said President Doug Greenup, “to develop Web applications, to develop client-server applications, and to do reporting.” The company adds that it will soon be releasing support for Oracle, “making our drivers tools for migration to Unix or NT.”
