Nexio purchased migration firm AD Technologies

Nexio Technologies acquired MPE re-hosting migration experts AD Technologies on Dec. 4, a transaction that the Montreal-area Nexio said will “create one of the few companies in the world offering total migration services that encompass infrastructures, applications and data.” AD Technologies, known for its ReHost/IT&Mac250; tool, has been an HP Transition Partner providing customers with rehosting system applications for more than 12 years.

“The joint expertise resulting from this acquisition ensures our customers will benefit from the most complete migration offering, said AD Technologies CEO Yves Philie. “Our company can now also offer migration services for an entire infrastructure and its supporting softwares.” Nexio brings expertise in IBM’s mainframe zSeries, as well as HP and IBM Unixes and Windows.
