HP takes its 3000 show on the road next month

The HP 3000 division has built its rebound on the strength of customer contact, and CSY is taking its message to customers with a road show beginning November 2. The presentations will feature an all-day format with lunch included at seven North American cities. Speakers include division general manager Harry Sterling, R&D chief Winston Prather, 3000 channel advocate Art Garcia, 3000 growth project lab manager Dave Wilde and lab section manager Jim Sartain. Prather said the meetings were designed around the concept of bringing key 3000 customers to the CSY labs in a Customer Advisory Council meeting, usually held once a year to help CSY get input on products and strategy.

The tour takes the CAC on the road to Toronto on Nov. 2, Elk Grove, Ill. near Chicago on Nov. 4, Atlanta on Nov. 5, Paramus, N.J. near New York on November 6, returns to Cupertino on November 12, then on to Seattle on Nov. 16 before wrapping up in Dallas on Nov. 17. Contact the HP sales offices in those cities — where the full-day presentations will be held — for details on how to attend. It’s one way to get a high-level presentation from HP for executives in your company who may want to hear about HP’s renewed devotion to the 3000 first-hand.
