The US distributor of HP e3000s reported a record month

In a sign of a market that’s beginning to show some rebound, Client Systems, LLC, the exclusive North American distributor for the HP e3000, reported that it has broke all of its previous monthly sales records during October, based on number of e3000 units sold. Mike Murphy, Client Systems President and CEO, said, “This is more evidence and substantiation that investment into the A- and N-Class platforms provides ample room for growth and enhanced functionality. These systems will meet all of our customers’ critical computing and business needs today and well into the future.”

Loren Blakeney, Integration and Technical Support Manager for Client Systems added that “It just goes to show how important the platform is to core business needs. Even though traditional IT purchases seem to be down – desktops and workstations – companies are apparently continuing to invest in infrastructure, and the e3000 is very much a corporate infrastructure tool.”

Blakeney added “The traditional vertical markets the e3000 plays in are still showing continued growth, over and above the current infrastructure investment factors. This makes for a chunk of work for us.” Dan Cossey, Senior Integration Engineer for Client Systems said the pace of rolling out new systems has been good for reducing waistlines, “We’ve been so busy building systems that we’ve got to force ourselves to take a break just to eat,“ he said.

Independent confirmation of the logjam breaking up in vertical market sales came from Minisoft, the makers of connectivity software for the e3000 often present at new system shipments. Doug Greenup said the company recently licensed its Miniword application in conjunction with a new
