SSA GT still considers porting MANMAN to HP-UX

SSA Global Technologies product manager Peigi Jeanblanc reports that the company hasn’t ruled out the possibility of porting the MANMAN ERP software to HP-UX. The company announced earlier this year that its enhancements for the MPE application suite would be limited from now on, and it has advised its customers to move to one of the other ERP packages that SSA GT offers. A survey of the customers held during February will deliver more information to the company on whether to proceed with a port of MANMAN to Unix.

“Part of the reason for the survey effort is for SSA GT to understand if porting is something that a customer is able to commit to,” Jeanblanc said. The survey closed March 1. MBS will report the survey results at this year's CAMUS conference in May.
