The provider of rapid development tools for HP 3000s is setting up a day of migration advice during this month’s CAMUS manufacturing conference in Denver, and Speedware is also offering hardware assistance through Canadian HP reseller Commerx. Commerx CEO Eddo Muzzatti said “We are proud to be able to offer Speedware’s portfolio of migration services. This endorsement is evidence of their commitment toward protecting our customers’ investments.” Speedware, one of HP’s three Platinum migration partners in North America, is giving Commerx exclusive provider status for supplying HP hardware to Speedware’s Canadian customer base. In turn, Commerx will exclusively offer Speedware’s migration solutions to its customers. The migration day on May 23 at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center will have Speedware and partners HP, DISC, Quest and Dimension Data discuss issues including planning and budgeting of migrations, application and database migrations, the replacement of reporting and analysis tools, as well as improving the visual interface of legacy applications.
