Paul Edwards & Associates and EasySpooler offered a spooler alternative

Moving away from HP 3000s usually means needing to replicate the system’s robust spooler options, and two companies have announced a strategic global alliance that offers 3000 customers an open systems print management solution. EasySpooler from Seay Systems is a user-oriented production output software solution that centralizes enterprise-wide processing and expedites information delivery across multiple destinations including printers, fax, email, the web and proprietary formats. It manages extensive reports, utilizes multiple form designs, runs high-speed commercial-grade printers, delivers information over complex network environments, and provides maximum control of the entire document delivery process. The partnership unites Edwards and his two decades of MPE consulting expertise with EasySpooler’s software. Acting as an MPE consulting firm, Edwards & Associates will provide MPE systems expertise to assist Seay Systems in the marketing of their EasySpooler product.

“Our goal is to provide the HP 3000 migrating customers a print management solution with the product features they are used to on MPE, with the additional capability to use a GUI interface for this control,” said Edwards. “The EasySpooler product line will provide technology that ensures total control over information delivery and receipt throughout the customers’ entire organization.” Edwards added that “HP customers who decide to homestead on HP 3000 can use the EasySpooler product on an inexpensive print server to gain additional capabilities that are not in the MPE native mode spooler.”

“The real benefit to HP customers is significant," said Karen Garver, vice president of sales for Seay Systems. “By combining Paul Edwards’ vast experience in the MPE arena along with the EasySpooler product suites, migrating organizations have a total document management offering to fully integrate with all front and back-end systems and across all platforms. We’re truly excited about this partnership.”
