Transact users can ride a smooth integration to migrate

ScreenJet Ltd. and Speedware Ltd. announced a technology and business alliance that ties together the companies’ HP 3000 migration software. T2C, the software offered by ScreenJet which can migrate Transact programs to COBOL, and AMXW, the Unix-Windows migration tool owned and sold by Speedware, have now been tested together and certified for integration. “Customers can now bolt the two products’ processes together to do a complete migration,” said ScreenJet’s president Alan Yeo. “AMXW can process the output from T2C.”

Speedware’s Nicolas Fortin said the products combine to give the Transact customers on HP 3000s a path to another platform. “This partnership further expands our portfolio of solution offerings in the HP e3000 migration space and extends our reach into the European market,” he said. “HP Transact users can now benefit from several options to best suit their needs as they move forward.”
